Short Game Area
Something special from Thetford is our dedicated short game area. You can hit from a closely cut tee area or a mat to 3 mown target greens spaced at 70, 95 and 120 yards. There’s also a fourth green with multiple flags, surrounded by mounds and bunkers. Perfect for chipping and bunker practice.
Indoor Studio
Our indoor swing studio features the GC Quad, this launch monitior is used by the worlds best players. The GCQuad uses a combination of infrared object tracking and high-speed, high-resolution camera-based technology to precisely measure every aspect of club head and ball launch performance. This vital information will be used to help improve your game.
Driving Range
Our driving range extends to over 270 yards long by 130 yards wide, with targets at a variety of distances. There’s a 25 yard wide artificial turf mat to hit from. Our driving range is open to the public.
Putting Green
We offer two putting greens that provide ample space and variety. There’s also another chipping green close to the 1st tee – perfect for warming up before your game.
Thetford Golf Course
The modern course winds its way through a forest of pine, oak and birch, and between heather, gorse and broom. Using the natural land, and respecting our SSSI status, it’s a course in harmony with its forest and heathland surroundings. It visually challenges and stimulates, while delivering a fair golfing test for all. The par 72 course, at 6,849 yards layout with a slope rating of 134 from the back tees is rated just outside Golf World’s English top 100. Crisp, firm and dry playing conditions are what to expect from this heathland gem. It means the course is open and playable almost every day of the year.
